AEGAMOX D EYE DROP
Pharmacological Classification / Category: Treatment of Bacterial eye infections
Composition: Moxifloxacin (0.5% w/v) + Dexamethasone (0.1% w/v)
Uses:
• It is useful in treating bacterial infections of the eyes.
• It helps to relieve pain, itching, inflammation due to the infection.
Side Effects:
• Burning sensation
• Irritation of eyes
• Discomfort of eyes
Contraindication:
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should consult your doctor before using this medication.
• Avoid driving while taking this medicine; it is possible that your reflexes might be hampered.
• If you are allergic to the medication or its derivatives.
Directions to use:
• As per Doctor’s advice.
• It is recommended to use this medication for the prescribed amount of time.
• The dropper should be held close to the eye not touching it. Slowly squeeze the dropper and put the medicine in the lower eyelid. Clean the extra liquid.
