Pharmacological Classification / Category:
Composition: Lactobacillus acidophilus 1 billion cfu + Bifidobacterium bifidum 1 billion cfu + Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) 100 mg
Uses:
* Prebiotics are live microorganisms that benefit the health of the host when administered in adequate amounts.
* It modifies microflora in small and large intestines.
* It is useful in treating Antibiotic Associated Diarrhoea (AAD)
* It aids in treating irritable bowel syndrome
* It provides relief from lactose intolerance
* It is useful in treating indigestion.
* It helps in restoring the normal gut flora; thus improving digestion.
Side Effects:
* Bloating of stomach due to increase in gas.
Rare:
* Allergic conditions such as rash, itching, swelling.
Contraindication:
* If you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you have any other Medical Condition, you should consult your doctor before using this medication.
* Drinking alcohol with this medicine can cause adverse effects.
* If you are taking this product for Antibiotic Associated Diarrhoea (AAD), do not use if you have a high fever or fever for more than 2 days( unless directed by your doctor).
* If you are allergic to the drug.
Directions to use:

* Take any product containing live bacteria at least 2 to 3 hours before or after taking antibiotics, as antibiotics may prevent theseproducts from working well.
