Pharmacological Classification / Category: TOPICAL ANTI-FUNGAL
Composition: Clindamycin(100.0 Mg) + Clotrimazole(200.0 Mg)
Uses:
* This combination medicine is useful in treating gynaecologic infections (bacterial and fungal infections of female reproductive organs).
* It aids in the treatment of vaginal infections that are associated with vaginal discharge.
* It provides relief from symptoms like itching, burning, irritation, jock itch, foul smelling vaginal discharge or change in colour of vaginal discharge.
Side Effects:
* Inflammation of vagina.
* Burning, itching and redness at the site of application.
* Rashes
Contraindication:
* If you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you have any other Medical Condition, you should consult your doctor before using this medication.
* Contraindicated in 1st trimester of pregnancy.
* If you are allergic to the drug or derivatives of clindamycin, linomycin or imidazole.
Directions to use:
* As per Doctor*s advice.
* Ensure that the affected area is thoroughly clean and dry.
* Lie down and carefully insert the suppository into the area as directed on the label, either with or without the use of an applicator.
* It is recommended to use this medication for the prescribed amount of time.
