Composition: Latanoprost (0.005% w/v)
Uses:
* It is used for treating open angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension (increased pressure in the eye).
* It helps to decrease pressure in the eye, as increased pressure may damage eye sight and lead to blindness.
Side Effects:
* Eye irritation
* Pain in the eye
* Burning
* Itching
* Increased photosensitivity.
* Stinging in the eyes
* Blurring of vision
* Increased iris pigmentation
* Thickening and darkening of eyelashes
* Macular edema (fluid build up in the centre of retina)
Contraindication:
* If you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you have any other Medical Condition, you should consult your doctor before using this medication.
* Avoid driving while taking this medicine; it is possible that your reflexes might be hampered.
* If you are allergic to the drug or its derivatives.
* Eye problems.
Directions to use:
